Alson's Wedding / Saturday, September 13, 2008
Yesterday was Cousin Alson's wedding. Before I attended the wedding dinner, Weixin and I went to Annie's new office to have a look. Haha. Anyway, that's not the first time I've been there. So I woke up very early in the morning. I was waken up by 10 over missed calls by my aunt. LoL. So, I went to Robinsons @ Raffles City to get a shirt for Alson's wedding dinner. In the end, I couldn't find it. After shopping, Weixin and I thought of getting some mooncakes for our ex bosses so I went to purchase at the mooncake fair.
We got there and well, Weixin likes the new intern alot. Hahaha. Annie treated us in a vegetarian restaurant. Not that cheap but it's a fantastic meal. Went back to the office after the meal and that sampat charbo started snapping pictures. Anyway, the office is very organise and it still feels like a home. Haha. After disturbing them for almost half a working day, I had to leave early to get a shirt for wedding dinner so we left around 4pm.
Took a cab down to Orchard and managed to get a piece of shirt for around $99. Very expensive right? Haha. Oh well, never mind about the money as long as I like it. So I rushed like a mad man from 1 place to another. Got back home and took a shower then headed to the Orchid Country Club.
Arrived at the restaurant around 7.30pm. Relatives were having their fifth dish. Lol. I didn't know the dinner started so early. Anyway, my serving is different from others. Felt so much like a VIP. Lol. By the way, most of the food is exactly the same as those I ate in the afternoon. Lol. Nevertheless, I still feel very appreciative for the effort by Cousin Alson for specially ordered vegetarian meal for me.
After the dinner, the cousins and I don't feel like going home yet. So I suggested to sing KTV at the Partyworld SAFRA. It has been months since I last sing songs. I think we were abit crazy during that time. Kept shorting and screaming when someone 'zhao shiang' (lost voice). I was pretty guilty when I kept laughing at Cousin Watson's singing. Damn. Lol. Seriously, he can mimick Jacky Wu's singing. Lol. So we ended our day after the partyworld session. Feels great and satisfied.
