What's up? / Monday, April 30, 2007
Hello people, I'm here again. Hahaha. I realised something about my blog. It has been a very long time since I uploaded pictures in it. Well, I didn't take many pictures over the past few months. I'll try to scan for some interesting stuff and upload it. Haha.

Have been doing some jogging and exercises as preparation to my 'jail' term. Someone once criticised me as 'the most pessimistic guy she had ever seen'. LoL. She's right to say that. I appeared to be very pessimistic as I tends to nag alot. Haha. After the nagging, I'm still back to my ownself. Haha. Actually, I neither hate nor excited about my participation in the ' Survivor, Pulau Tekong' series. Yes, neutral feeling for now. I guess normal people will be missing something from that longest 3 months in a Singapore man's life. Anyway, that's part of life.... Nagging again. LoLx. Nevertheless, I will try to enjoy as much as possible.

Wondering where am I? / Saturday, April 28, 2007
On Friday, went to Vivocity to meet up with Esther and Von. Nothing much though, had dinner at Pasta Mania and went to Ben and Jerry for some Ice Cream Delight. Got a call from KC and left the girls. My apology for that leaving you all at the last minutes. I don't usually do that but whenever friend needs me, I will try to prioritise. What a big change in me. Haha. So he kept pouring his problems to me. Yaya, relationship problem again. I don't usually console people as they might have heard similar consolation from others. I just give my views. If you find that the opposition isn't good enough for you, just leave him/her. 'Old man' once told me: After passing by a small flower, what's in front of your road is a big garden. Haha.... Sooooo, don't rush man, we're still young people dude.

Finally, I got to know a little bit about what is SOKA about. Today, Cherie brought me and Ifah to the SOKA which is located at the Telok Blangah Rd. It was a very interesting exposure to such an organisation. Initially, I thought it is another religious organisation. So I got it wrong, the focus isn't just about religion itself but also an indepth understanding of life and buddhism. I just got to know a little so couldn't elaborate more about it. But it is interesting. Other than that, watched the skit acted by Nicholas (Cherie's Bro) and her elder bro, it was a good skit with wonderful casts. Nicholas was brilliant as he could remember the 'million' pages script of his role. Nice one, dude. Haha. Overall, I really enjoyed the trip and maybe I'll return there again :)

Btw, I'm going to NS real soon. Less than two months time. Must get prepared and get over with it. Neither like or hate it, I'm so neutral to it. Just hope that I'll enjoy as much as possible :)

Long Week / Wednesday, April 25, 2007
This week seems to be really draggy and long. For the past 1 month or so, I accomplished very little amount of things during work. Most of the time, I was trying really hard to find task to do and to keep my time occupied. Somehow, I think I am a surplus in Red Box Events. I think my boss take me in because I couldn't find a temporary job. Well, felt abit useless as I couldn't help much also. Haha. You guys might think that earning easy money without doing much things is a great deal. I thought so too, but i got demoralized by it.

So I'm here blogging again. Today is Amelia 'Beer Girl' Koh's birthday. Sooo... A big happy birthday to her.

Well, brain isn't working too well. Will update if I have something to say :)

Then and Now / Monday, April 23, 2007
As usual, I woke up pretty early in the morning. Was pretty lazy to take train to work so I decided to take a cab. It was another bad decision made for the month of April. I took a Mercedes Taxi and the speed of the vehicle is comparable to the speed of the cab fare meter. Besides the cab fare, there were additional charges such as ERP and Peak Hour Surcharge. To make the matter worse, the early morning traffic jam on the PIE really created a big hole in my pocket. Oh well, never mind about it, I made this decision and shouldn't regret about it. There goes my $25.

Yesterday, on my way back home, I was pretty frustrated by an unknown guy who slept on my shoulder. Initially, he was sleeping while leaning against the grab pole. He almost fell a couple of times and it was pretty distracting. Soon, one passenger on my right alighted and I know this guy gonna sleep beside me. A few minutes later, he started to sleep on my shoulder. Haha. I don't mind if that was a sweet lady but too bad la. Soooo, I started to nudge him for a couple of times. He set to the busy mode so it seemed unworkable for such situation. I left my seat and he fell on my seat. Finally he woke up and used that watery pair of red eyes to look at me. I almost wanna give him a punch on his face as I was frustrated. I was as tired as him. Soon he fell asleep again. Then, a lady who stood behind me, was overjoyed to see that vacant seat. She thought she is the luckiest somebody who got a vacant seat. In the end, same thing happened to her and she kept nudging at him. It was pretty funny and I managed to hide my laughter. I complained to my friend as I couldn't sleep in the train. She went on to ask me this question 'Why are you always encountering such people in the train?'. The answer: 'God knows'. Maybe I spent around 2 1/2 hours a day in the train, that's why I met so many types of people.

Did blog hogging early in the morning and I saw another of my good friend voicing out his problem. It's about relationship problem again. It left me wondering what is so great about wanting to have a relationship. It seems to have more problems than happiness. For his situation, it's slightly more complicated than some other people. He likes someone from his close group of female friends. If things turned sour, friendship might not be as good as before. You know, that kind of weird situation whereby whenever there is gathering, the two of you will try to avoid one another. Maybe once or twice, the two will entertain each other with a few words to make the situation less tense. Typing and typing, it's getting more and more familiar. Haha. For me, it is a black and white situation. You will not be able to see the sun and moon together. Oh ya, forgot about solar esclipse where you can see them together. Earth, Sun and Moon? Sounds pretty interesting.

A sentence extracted from a conversation with Fiona: If you want to forget someone easily, cut the link between the both of you. I agreed with her as constant updating of the opposition life might affect your mood or even give you a ray of hope in getting back to the relationship. Have to be firm in order to carry on with life. Me, myself, I didn't get what I wanted. Not that I'm trying to make life difficult for the others. I just want to get away with problems asap. Forcing your way will hurt both parties and/or make life difficult for yourself. Anyway, even if you get what you want, he/she might not be happy also. Luckily, my unhappiness is short term and i've gained long term happiness. Enough of all these, I'm going further and further. Haha. Anyway, I'm free from troubles and I'm awaiting for one soon :)

Today / Sunday, April 22, 2007
Monday... Start of the new week... Woke up early in the morning and was wondering why weekends passed so fast and swiftly. I did nothing much during the weekends besides replenishing my energy which had been used up during the weekdays. Oh well, I did some jogging with liang yesterday and my body ached like an old man.

This morning, I was like dreamwalking on my way to work. I arrived the MRT station and could barely open my eyes. So, I decided to wash my face in the toilet. While I was washing my face, I realised someone standing beside me. I lifted my head and saw someone with a straight shoulder length hair standing beside me. I got a big fat shock and it was the very first time in the morning that I opened my eyes big and wide. No, I didn't think he/she is a character from the true singapore ghost story. Two possibilities came to my mind.

1. I went to the Female toilet.
2. This person is a transvestite. Hahaha.

I turned to my right... Heng Heng... I saw urinals. I turned to my left... Suay Suay... the transvestite was still there. It was an very uneasy encounter as the whole toilet was pretty empty. I walked out of the toilet instantly and this whole event refreshed me effectively.

ONCE UPON A TIME .......

- I've accidently went to the female toilet twice and I got spotted instantly.

First incident occured during a 'marketing' trip with my parent. It happened a few years back. I couldn't withstand the drumming of my stomach so I rushed to the nearby toilet. I paid 10 cents and hurried to the door on the my right. I felt that the counter uncle stood up but I ignored him as I have urgent business to discuss. So, the business was successful and I was ready to end the meeting. Suddenly, before I opened the cubicle's door, I overheard this conversation.

Marketing Executive 1: WoW, today's veggie very cheap sia. Last time sell 3 for 1 dollar. Today sell 5 for 1 dollar. Li Bo Ke Buay Ar? (Hokkien: Did you go buy?)
Marketing Manager 1: Bo Sui A La, Chu Lai Bo Ai Chark Cai Eh. Dan Chek Ai Ke Buay Quay Ba Liao. (Hokkien: The veggies are not fresh and nobody likes to eat veggie. Later I'm going to buy chicken meat.)

Holy, those were the voices of AUNTIES........ I realised than I've entered the female toilet. I got struck in the cubicle and my parent were still waiting for me. On the other hand, the marketing people were happily discussing on the purchase of goods. My patience level dropped to seabed and I forced my way outta the toilet. Silence broke up the whole toilet and followed by the shock faces of the marketers...................

In the train 1 / Thursday, April 19, 2007
I took train daily and have found out alot of interesting stuff during my journey. I'll list down what I have observed during the whole week as I thought it is pretty interesting.

Incident 1: 'Please give up your seat to elderly'. Everyone is very well aware of this sentence and you could easily spot the sign in any public transportation. The reason why we have to surrender the seat is mainly because elderly people are considered weaker as compared to young people. But what I saw was completely opposite. Once the train opened its door, I saw an elderly lady pushing and squeezing through the crowd in order to warm the bench of the MRT train. She was alot faster as compared to many young working adults who were on the race. I was pretty disgusted by this lady's action. Instead of pushing which may injure the others, I think she should not fight for the seat. I'm sure that there will be someone who is willing to give up his/her seat to her. *Not all elderly are rude, this was just another unusual people.

Incident 2: Recently, I saw a new way of 'stealing' seat from somebody. I find it a very intelligent way and it can be pretty annoying. This couple was pushing the baby's stroller into the train. The train was crowded and there were no vacant seat at all. Sooo, they were forced to be stucked on the door area. With the bulky stroller, it made movement nearly impossible. So this clever mother, she carried her baby from the stroller and forced her way to the seat area. She was standing between me and another 'gentleman'. This 'gentleman' was a joker, he fell asleep like as if he's dead instantly. So I stood up and offered my seat. This clever mum said a quick 'thank you' to me and sat on the seat. At least she thanked me, it makes me feel slightly better. Haha.

There were simply too many tricks and stunts in the MRT. I got abit tired of typing them out. Shall continue another time. See ya guys.

Looking Back / Monday, April 16, 2007
Have been searching on performances for the client's black tie events. Somehow, my brain started thinking about the past role plays ICA which I have involved during my polytechnic days. From Year 1 to Year 3, I enjoyed every single role play ICA. Why? Because I didn't have to memorise or study any thick lecture notes or text books. I just love to play around and obtained good grades.

First roleplay ICA? Oh ya, vividly remember that it was during the Accounting of Asset lesson. I was pretty disgusted by the idea of role play as an ICA. Everyone had their own partner while I was left on the unwanted bench without anybody's attention. I joined the class officially during that semester. Bryant was the kind soul who took this unwanted fellow. Initially, I thought we will produce shit for this ICA as we had never work together before. He too, I thought he had the idea that I was a lousy partner at that time. In the end, we came out with the 'Ah Kow and Ah Siao' (if I'm not wrong) story. There were no discussion and rehearsal. I did the script and he editted half of it. He was 'Ah Siao' while I acted as 'Ah Kow'. Haha. It was quite surprising as we acted naturally but made a couple of silly errors. We laughed and crazed while we acted. Haha. In the end, we got the highest in class with praises from the tutor. What's more important is the appreciation and laughter of the audiences.

Second roleplay was the ICA for International Cross Culture Management module. I joined Ah Keong's group as we've became quite good friends after the eventful second semester of Year One. It was the most hilarious rehearsal among the roleplay ICAs. I had breathing difficulties after watching my teammate's rehearsing his role. He acted as a Vietnamese. The funny part was that he can't speak a word of Vietnamese language so he had to speak like an alien. Haha. The main script of that role were "Shi Shuai Shi Mi Mai Ti Kai Myueng" which no human on earth is able to understand that language. Bravo to him as he could control his laughter. Haha. I guess I have suffered internal bleeding from controlling my laughter. I acted as a devil boss and had a DIY (by Joy) horns on my head. I had alot of fun screaming and yelling at the Avril Lavigne. YES, the crowd laughed and enjoyed the whole performance. Heard that there were quite a number of people who voted me as the best actor or something. I was so pleased. Haha. Director Joy had little outstanding role for the whole event. Nevertheless, she deserved the credit for coming out with lame and funny story. And not forgeting the actors and actresses. Haha.

As for the third roleplay, it was held during the Human Resource Management Module. It was the craziest roleplay among the three. It was such a holy shit that I did my virgin make up on my face. My role was a gothic punkster. I wasn't the only one with the horrible role. Kai Cheng acted as a tom boy while Samuel became the sissy boy. Haha. Who came out with this brilliant idea? Yes, Director Joy again. She is a very intelligent director who make good use of her partners. She always get the normal human role while we always acted like abnormal creatures. Haha. No choice as I didn't contribute much during the brain storming. Haha. Well, my ugly gothic face did shocked many of my classmates as well as the tutor. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance on that day. Again, we created laughter in our class and that was the main motive for the such performance. After the whole thing, I got into abit of limelight as there were some classmates who wanted to take pictures with me. That's the satisfaction that I got and I really cherish every moment in for all these fun and craziness.

Back / Thursday, April 12, 2007
Finally, I'm back to blog a little about what happened during the short MIA period. Actually I have nothing much to tell you people here. Ever since I started working, life has been a routine and honestly speaking, I'm fairly not used to this kind of life. But I'll still try to enjoy the freedom while it last. Haha.

Anyway, I read a couple of my friend's blog and found out that they are still living in history. They simply couldn't get out of the troubled r/s problem. A big HAIZ to this kind of problem. The other party are happily living their life with smile and laughter while those who can't get out of the history will continue to suffer. Definitely it is not worth it. Maybe I'm someone who can't be bothered much with what happened in the past that's why I don't understand these people.

So to any animal who is trying to use the past to affect my present life, there's a minimum chance of success. Save the trouble and get your own life right :)
