Days After Days / Friday, November 30, 2007
First of all, I would like to thanks those friends out there who have shown their concern for my 'exciting' NS life. Right now, I have been adapting pretty well with that kind of life. I have realised the reasons behind my unhappiness during my first few weeks of my stay in the Armour unit. Seriously, it's all about the mind. By comparing the NS life with some of the more fortunate friends will certainly makes oneself feel sad and less motivated. When I stopped making comparision and think positively, it makes my day goes faster and happier. So friends, not to worry, I'm just very fine now :)
Still had plenty lots of things to improve for now. I'm unable to communicate with certain of the platoon mates. Some of them are just making life difficult for my section. Not gonna say more. There will surely be politics wherever you go. Pretty unsure whether to treat them as friends or foes. Suddenly, it reminds me of my ex-platoon mates who has passed away recently. He was a really friendly guy who treated me well during my BMT days. Many dislike him as they thought that he always slack his way out and malingering. As days goes by, I started to get influence by the majority and started to distance away from him. Looking back, I am pretty disgusted with myself right now. Anyway, it will be another lesson for me to learn. Rest in peace, my friend.
Other than Army life, there is nothing much happening in my civilian life. Friends are all busy accompanying their girl or boyfriend. Bet that the next few weekends will be rather 'peaceful' and 'satisfactory'. Nah, not gonna think too much. What's gonna happen in the future will be a big question mark. So... just gonna wait and wait for the answer to come... Bye for now.............

Yesterday, 18 November 2007, was a rather busy day. It was the Black Beret Presentation Day in my unit. We spent the whole week doing preparation for this event. I didn't invite anybody to come as I think it's really troublesome for them to make their way there early in the morning. Actually, nothing much, just a simple parade and took couple of picture before proceeding back home.
In the afternoon, went to source for Cousin Wendy's present. Von.G, Esther, Min and Thomas were my companions. Walked around the whole of Orchard street. Was quite frustrated to find a decent present for my cousin. Anyway, did a pretty well done job in helping Thomas to give Esther a surprise. Surely, we will expect something back from them. Haha. Bought a watch before proceeding to Downtown East.
Von.G took train with me to Pasir Ris. Gossip quite alot of shit. Haha. We laughed uglily in train. Went to the chalet and saw many familiar faces. Sergeant Alex were there too as he is my cousin ex-classmate. He was surprise to see me sia. Went to catch up with Cousin Fat Fly, Clanner, Beer girl and Watson. Proceeded to arcade to have some crazy games. Took countless of pictures there.
