LOoK LoOk / Monday, October 30, 2006
First of all, I have to wish all of my friends a very Happy Halloween Day and also to my Boss, Mr Bernard, a Happy 20th Birthday to you.

Today, nothing much to do, so I'll blog some rubbish again ok. So I'll start of with this sentence, "Hey, What's wrong with this world, Mama?". Yeah, what is wrong with this world? Haha. Why do I say that? Sometime, you happened to think that why is this world so fuck up. It's so unfair and you have got no choice but to accept your fate.

Think and think, you will get to know what I'm saying. From what I have observed, I can name a few cases which I have seen. Looks and package are simply two of the most important factors in our life. It's so unfair that when you got sucha good looking features but a charcoal black heart, you will still gain popularity among the people around you. If you have got a rather less appealing looks but you have got a angel heart, nobody even give a big damn about your bloody life.

It's just so sad to discover that I am diagnose this kind of unaccepted sickness. I gave attitude to those with a rather unappealing facial feature. He/She doesn't have to be ugly to make me dislike them. You know it, it's the kind of face that make your irritated whenever you see him or her. He/She need not do anything to offend you. Just by showing his/her face, it makes you so pissed off. I guess most people have this kind of sickness but I'm reaching the latter stage of it which is almost unrepairable.

Cure me please? Anyone. Please folks, I'm not suffering from depression or anything. I'm guilty with what I've done. I couldn't change and it goes on and on. This blog is a outlet for me to vent my emotion. I hate to share things verbally with anyone because advices given are almost the same. "Relax, it's take time to cure.", "Chill bro, you are not any different from the others." or "Hey, hope you will be okay, God bless me." I missed out quite alot as it takes me months to type up the rest. So friends around me, if I happened to commit this crime, please caution me. Thanks for the cooperation. Haha.

Pictures taken on the CCAS Black Tie Event

Front: My Boss Annie, Terence, Kenneth. Back: Jr and WeiXin

Errr..... All Black. Kinda depressing right?

That's the sense of satisfaction after the whole event. Hahas.

Yesterday was the CCAS Black Tie Event. And ya, I'm so glad that I was given the opportunity to take a look at how a big and formal event looks like. It's such a eye opener as I saw many guest wearing suit, Tuxedo, gown and whatever you called. It was just so formal that made me kind of uncomfortable. Haha. I was a small stage assistant and spent most of the time at the backstage. My tasks are relatively easy and I coped it well. Haha. Gimme a round of applaude. LoLs.

I guess I'm still drunk. LoLs. Guess what? After the whole event, dessert were serve to us and I had two plates of it. It's a cake coated with chocolate with some kind of berry jam in it. Yummy. And not forgetting, White and Red Wine were served to us too. There were a female waiter, she handled me the bottle of wine and asked me 'Are you from NYP?'. Haha. Yes, I am. Didn't know that somebody even noticed the existance of a nobody in NYP.

I was so happy that I drank almost 3/4 of the bottle of white wine and a glass of red wine. I think that red wine is utterly awful. Hahas. I don't like the taste at all. (I admit that I was abit drunk then cos I drank them in just 1 hour time) BUT, I wouldn't let myself drunk b'cos the feeling SUXs. Haha. Hired a cab and get back home at 12.30 am. Boss pay for the cab. Haha.

Feeling rather unwell now. Haha. Slept for only around 3 hours. Woke up as early as 5 am because of my bloody brother alarm clock. I don't even know what the god damn thing he is doing. He slept soundly and let the clock ring like nobody's business. Damn. By the way, I can still feel the wine in my stomach now. Haha. Anyway to get them out of my stomach? I think I going to force shit in my mouth so that I can puke. Haha. Stop typing now, I think I'm typing more and more rubbish. Chaoz////

Wait / Sunday, October 22, 2006
I'm kind of free in the office right now. So I'll just blog something interesting today. Ya, the topic will be waiting. Yes, Waiting can be boring, draggy and frustrating. A big BUT, it can be interesting and sweet too. Let me give you a little example of each.

Situation 1: You are waiting for the bus at the bus stop and met the girl you like. God bless you that there is a empty seat beside her. So you are sitting beside her now. You have never get so close with her before. The conversation is never ending and you just hope that the bus will never arrived. Can you sense the sweetness?

Situation 2: You are waiting for the bus at the bus stop and met the girl you dislike. Holy Crap that there is a empty seat beside her. She saw you and insist you to chat with her. So you are sitting beside her now. You have never wanted to get so close with her. The conversation is never ending but you just hope that the bus arrive instantly. Can you sense the bitterness?

Alright, enough of crapping. I came across an article which talks about waiting. Oh well, I find it rather interesting as human being do not take note of small little thing like that. We, not only human being, spent most of our precious time waiting. Really? I'll give you more examples.

These are a few examples. You don't have to crack your brain to get a bit more examples. Look around and you can see the real life examples. Waiting is part of our life and we don't even realise that we have wasted more time than anything. If only that we can take note of it and transform the dull waiting time to be rather interesting. It will definitely fill some colours into our life. It's really up to individual to spice up your life. Look at the positive side of everything. Even the ugliest object or living thing will have a beautiful side. (That's for ya, my friend.)

Waiting can be painful and it can also kill your opportunity. Just like you are waiting for the right time to take action. Once you missed it, you're gone. It's just so cruel. Not only that, when you hit it at the wrong time, you're gone too. It's just so confusing as to whether to do it or not. There's no point taking up time management courses as I guess this is purely base on fate. It can get so frustrating that you can lose half of yourself. So... when it's time to let go, just let go. Why? Don't waste your time for something that is near impossible for you. Life can be so cruel... Soo Cruel.... Haha. (That's for you, my another friend)

Chalet / Friday, October 20, 2006
Time for some quick updates. Yeah, as you can see from the title above, I went to a BBQ session with my relatives at the downtown east chalet. It's good to have some of these program to enhance our hectic attachment life. Haha.

Met Cousin Sarah @ the Bugis MRT and we travelled all the way there immediately after work. Alighted at Tampines to catch a few bites. Right at the Chalet, there were nothing much to do. Oh well, finally I get to see my baby cousin Issac (wonder if I spelled correctly). He is so cute and adorable.

Took a couple of pictures using MooMoo's Polaroid camera. When the pictures are ready, I'll upload it to the blog. Then we headed to the arcade to play a few round of games. Hahas. I thought that girls are bad in playing games but in fact, they can be much better than most guys. Haha. This stereotyping should be eliminated off my personal dictionary.

Continue to take some pictures around the chalet. Then something embarrassing happened. As I was so 'gan jiong' to get my best position to pose, I had a huge knock on my shin area. Damn, I can see a huge bun now. Haha. After that, we went back to the BBQ area and we had a few chats.

They seemed to enjoy my daily encounter in the MRT. As I told most of my friends, I often meet weirdos in the MRT train. It can be a form of daily entertainment now. Haha. Glad that they were laughing their ass off. It just make my day when I see people laughing cheerfully and happily. Alright, time to get back to serious business.

Weekends / Sunday, October 15, 2006
Good Weekends, Fun Weekends, Enjoyable Weekends and Fabulous Weekends. Are there any better words to use to sum up my weekends? This particular weekends is fun and relaxing. It is well spent and I had been enjoying myself to the fullest.

On the fine Saturday afternoon, I met Esther at the Woodlands MRT station. We headed to my workplace to meet up with Kelvin and at the same time, we went to get the polariod camera from my colleague. Thanks to MooMoo. Haha. She sponsored me with 10 pieces of polariod film. Haha. After getting the camera at Outram, we went to get Yvonne Goh to join our group. Haha. That poor girl have to work during the weekends. Lolx. Oh ya, Kelvin was outstanding among our group as he was unusually tidy for that day. Sooo, we headed down to Orchard to enjoy our dinner.

We went to Han's. So I ordered the Mee Rebus look-alike vegetarian spagetti. Lolx. Sounds so chiminology right? It is quite tasty and I wonder if there is any meat content in it. After the dinner, we walked around orchard area and headed down to the Somerset MRT. Sooo.... The next stop: Clarke Quay. We planned to go the Mind Cafe but none of us know how to get there. We made lotsa phone calls to trace the location. Haha. And guess what, it is located at the Boat Quay. So we took a cabby from Clarke Quay to the Boat Quay.

Mind Cafe is a nice place to chill. It is a place where you can enjoy a wide range of board games in a cosy environment with yummy titbits and drinks. We played quite a number of games. I can't remember the title but some of them are really retarded and boring. The staff recommended some boring games to us and we were like 'Where is the interesting part of the game?'. Haha. While playing the games, we take the opportunity to snap a few pictures. I'll upload it once it is ready. Haha.

Oh ya, just now I had a mahjong game with Esther, Bryant and Luke. LoLx. Bryant is the winner and the rest lost. Esther and Luke are really poor things as they lost the most. Me too, I am part of the loser team also. Never mind, I will comeback from the defeat. Haha. I'm strong ok. HAHAHAHA. Just you see, Bryant. I will take back my lesson fee for today. Wahahaha.

Enjoy+Work / Friday, October 13, 2006
As requested by my dear friend Ah Joy, I have taken lotsa pictures to post in my blog. I'll use these pictures to show you around my work place. Haha, don't be envious ok...

Every weekday, I will be entering to my cosy workplace. This is the door of my internship days. Haha. The first day I walked in, it isn't look like this. It's messier and untidy. Now it looks so neat and organise. And ya, my computer is the one with a pussy on top. Haha.

Without failed, I will visit this place every morning. It has been a great friend since the start of my internship. Most of the time, I didn't get to sit on it as I rarely got output. Haha. Oh ya, a new water heater was installed in the male toilet. Cool right? Haha. No difference from our home toilet. Haha, finally I also got my chance of sitting on top of my friend. Haha. Sounds XxX right? LoLs.

After that, I will climb up the stair and get to my workstation. I will start doing my things there. Well, that poor fellow in red, he is my colleague Kenneth. Everyday, he is the first face that I will see after entering the door. Will I be sick of seeing his face daily? Haha. I try not to think about it. Haha. Anyway, he's a good person who takes friendship as gems.

Two hours after the start of work, it will be the lunch time. Usually, we will travel all the way to the Tanjong Pagar Amoy Center to enjoy our meal. If we don't feel like going out to eat, we can enjoy our fabulous meal at this area. Candle Lit Meal somemore ok. The setting is quite relaxing and nice right? Don't you think so?

For those who prefers to cook, there is a kitchen corner for you to prepare the fabulous 'office cook' meal. There are lotsa equipment in there e.g. rice cooker, stove, oven and many more. As for the top picture, you can see the refrigerator and the sink. You can store the fish, vegetable and lotsa food in there. I feel so much like home. LOL.

After lunch, I will need a rest before I start working. Sooo, I will start lazing at the sofa which is just beside my workstation. Imagine a cup of coffee, a cosy sofa and a super cool air-con directly opposite you. It is sooo relaxing. Haha. I guess the reader here wanna give me a few punches soon. I sound so 'action'. Haha. This is also the place where I can get my ideas for the event planning. It just give me the mood to think and think. :)

Sometimes when I'm bored, I'll crawl down to DP production to find MooMoo. She's such a poor thing to work alone in this pathetic area. We always crap shit outta our mouth. And ya, I always cheat sweet from her. This is my bad habit. I don't buy sweet but always get from others. Why? Cos if I buy, I will finish everything in 3 hours. It's not excuse, it's true. I don't wanna get diabetes that early. Haha. And ya, that lappy is her friend. She got a cool lappy while the guys got a old computer each. That's the difference between production and events management.

This is the newly created studio for voice recording. We had to tolerate the dust, glue sniffing and noise pollution over the past few days. But this studio is damn cool as there is a air con for this small room. It is sound proof and I feel so much like a DJ inside this room. Haha. I just love to play around with the new stuffs that are installed in the office. Ya, that's me in the studio. Do I look cool in that picture? Hahahaha. Shhhh, I know I am....

Lastly, this is the picture of the DP production room. There are lotsa equipments in there. So So Sooooo damn it cool man. That's the place where I wave goodbye to my 1/2 boss. Haha. He is a friendly fellow. Too bad he wasn't in the room. Lolx.

Note: There is another room which is my supervisor cum boss's room. I didn't take the picture of her room as I'm afraid that I will not survive if she see it off my blog. Haha. She is a good boss but then, I still abit scare her as she controls my future. Results..... I must chiong for good result. Hahahaha.

2nd home / Thursday, October 12, 2006
Alright, today was kind of despo to snap pictures around my office so I borrowed MooMoo's handphone and snapped pictures like an insane idiot. School timetable is out and ya, that means that I'm going to leave this temporary 2nd home and shift back to my 2nd home soon. Here are some of the pictures that I have taken:

Picture 1: This is the picture of my workstation. Haha. And this is the place where I work, sleep, eat, dream, play and many other things. Haha. Oh yes, I decorated my work station too. Even thought it's a kind of plain but I still like my work.

Picture 2: Well, my boss once or maybe twice told us that we 'zhuo bo'(Do nothing) in the office. Although I'm not so deeply affected by the comment that is made by her (unlike my colleague who suffered from depression lolx), but I still have to proof that I'm not useless. So I produced this piece of artistic work. Mind you, it's so original that no one can copy, cosss it's my palm. Haha.

Picture 3: This is the picture of the 3 pathetic interns that can be found in Red Box Events. Oppss, sorry, MooMoo is from DP production. Guess who got the most 'qian bian' face? He is none other than that guy in the center. Wahahaha. Even my boss also think he got that kind of face. As for MooMoo, she's a emotional freak. Haha. She got a amazing skill which is to cry at anytime. Time to get milk powder for her. She loves to say herself ugly which I don't understand why also.

Picture 4: As you can see, sometimes we are really 'zhuo bo' in the office. Haha, as requested by Wei Xin, she wanted me to pose on her trademark irritating pose. I nearly fracture my wrist to do this challenging stunt. haha. I KNOW IT'S A IRRITATING PICTURE BUT somehow, I LIKE IT. HAHAHA. I found out that covering part of my face can make me looks good. I guess the manufacturer of Junrong failed her design module during her studies. Haha. I can't deny that I got a bad combination of facial organs. Haha.

Do or not? / Wednesday, October 11, 2006
Yeah, it's blogging time again. Working in Red Box Events seems to be getting better and better. I think I have started to develop interest in doing event stuffs. Cheers. Had quite a number of meetings with my boss and my colleague (that dumbass). Most of the time, we will drift to other non-event related topics. :) It is really funny and enjoyable to chat with them. The victim will always be Kenneth as he has different frequency as us.

A few days ago, we have chatted a relatively interesting topic. The topic is about a man carrying a lady's handbag. I bet most of us had seen or even experience such a situation. My boss think that if a lady wants a man to carry her handbag for her, it is a kind of embarrasement to the man. Just imagine a man carrying a lady's handbag. Haha. It might seems to be very normal but come on, man should act like a man. When a grown up man carrying a lady's handbag, haha, should I call him a 'gentleman' or a 'gentle man'. It looks so uncomfortable.

Why ladies will request the male partner to carry bag for her? The most basic answer would be that she is tired. Haha. Then my boss told us that if the lady give such a excuse, the guy will have to reply by asking "If you are tired, why do you still want to come out?". It may sounds abit ungentleman but please, get the fact right into the head. If you want the guy to respect you, you must also respect him. Just imagine: When your boyfriend carrying a girly handbag for you, the passerby will think that he is a sissy or pussyboy. You will never know what others are thinking.

Another topic will be the "Gentleman". This word always comes out from the mouth of young teenage girls. How do you rate a gentleman? For example, when you open the door for the lady or pull the chair for a lady in a kopitiam, these acts are called gentleman style. That was only 2 of the occasions that I had encountered. At that time, I failed to do all these things. Guess what? I was labeled as "Ungentleman". If a girl asked you "why never open the car door for me? So ungentleman." Then the guy should asked "Did your dad open the door for your mum?" It's so damn true. As for example 2, it's kind of funny as it was at a kopitiam and not a high class restuarant, it's kind of weird to have such a behaviour in a ermmm 'kopitiam'. Haha.

Extracted from my boss conversation, she heard from a speaker that in asian context, a person's behaviours are based on the lifestyle of their parents. Who do we learn from when we were young? Obviously, it's from our parents. For example, a Ang Moh kid's parents always kiss kiss gd night and so when the Ang Moh kid become a Ang Moh man, he will also kiss kiss gd night to his gf or wife. If he don't do that, he will think that something is missing. The whole thing I wanted to point out is that before you say someone ungentleman or something, please think twice as some of the behaviours are not part of our culture, be it family culture or country/regional culture. Btw, I'm not targeting at anyone. Hehe. Just share some interesting things that I had learnt.

You, Me and Dupree / Sunday, October 08, 2006

Yeah, this is the movie of my week. You, Me and Dupress is a comedy that you're not gonna missed. The storyline is good and personally, I like Owen Wilson's movie. This movie isn't so much that will laugh your ass for. Yes, there is funny elements in there but it's not exaggerating. Kind of a relaxing movie that is truly suitable for couples. And yeah, there are quite a number of Owen Wilson's nude scenes. So, for girls who are interested in these ermmmm, please go watch it. And ya, remember your tissue or hanky.

Went to catch a movie with Cousin Sarah. I guess she really enjoyed watching the movie as I heard her freaking laughter throughout the movie. That was the first time I've watch a movie with her. After the movie, we went to our grandma's place. We had our dinner at the nearby coffee shop. The char kueh there is simply a delicacy to us. It is the food that we wounldn't missed when we were there. Hahas. After the dinner, went up to grandma's place and watched television show. Though there is nothing really special, it has been a relaxing day for me.

Vivo City / Saturday, October 07, 2006
Yesterday, went out with Liang, Bernard, Kai Chuan and the couple to 3 different places. It has been a long time since we last met.

First stop: Ang Mo Kio. As Liang wanted to buy a PSP, we went to scan around the Ang Mo Kio area. The haze and the humid weather had totally killed my mood of shopping around the non-air-conditional areas. Bernard suggested to play some games at arcade so we left the rest to the Snookerium. Played a couple of Virtue Striker games with Bernard and all I can say is that I'm not good at it. Haha. Gonna brush up my gaming skill. Left the place after Liang and KC finished the hunting of PSP.

Second Stop: Orchard. As the couple were shopping at the Orchard area, we went down to meet up with them. Orchard Orchard Orchard, this place simply makes me yawn. When there is a get along with friends, we always go Orchard. I got quite sick with that place. I think that there is nothing much to do at Orchard. We walked around like homeless souls, aimlessly loitering around the different buildings. As Kai Chuan wanted to meet up with his friends at the Vivo City, we decided to head down to the Harbour Front. Anyway, I guess it would be better than Orchard area.

Third Stops: Vivo City. I heard that yesterday was the opening day of Vivo City, the largest shopping mall in Singapore. That place is big. As it was the first day, there were many shoppers but limited stores were opened. We planned to catch a movie at the GV cinema but guess what, that place was crowded with billions of human. Most of the movies were selling fast so we killed the plan and started hunting for food. Went to the old shopping mall as Vivo City was packed with human. At the old mall, everywhere you see is human human and human. Hahas. When there is a food store, you will see a long 'human dragon' (queue). We were starving and tired so the rest decided to head to the Prata Store at Old Thomson Rd while I left them as I felt tired. Haha.

Quite a fun day but ended up with some unhappiness. Shall not talk about it as it's over. Anyway, it's just another unhappy evening. Haha. Cheers, shall end here.

ESTE / Thursday, October 05, 2006
Today, kind of enjoyable. Enjoyable doesn't mean happy ok. It's relaxing today. Haha. Went to Clark Quey for my virgin event management experience. In the morning, went to the office to pack all the stuffs to bring it to Clark Quey.

First station, the Novotel Hotel. There was an event that is held by the Hyperion group. I have been doing registration things with Ms Annie and my colleague for the whole afternoon. It's boring as there were nothing to eat and the drinks was just coffee and tea. Left the place at around 4.30pm and headed to the next destination.

Second station, the Este The Club. Alright, I like this station as it's kind of cool. That place, only people above the age of 25 then can go in. As for me, I'm a staff of Red Box Events soooo.... I can go in. Hahaha. Why above 25? Cos there are 'mei mei' in the club. Haha.

Kind of hungry at the early evening as I only ate French Fries and Apple Pie for my lunch. Luckily, there will be FREE vegetarian meal at the club as the Big Boss of a particular company is a vegetarian. Haha. I hope I can be as successsful as her. Had PASTA, SPRING ROLL and TRIANGLE PUFF for my dinner. Yummy, it's tasty.

After all the packing up, I got nothing better to do. So I went in to the club and asked Ms Annie for some recommendation of drinks. Free Flow sia. I can drink until siao. Haha. Ms Annie recommended us 'Vodka with 7-up, Vodka with Ribenna and Vodka with Orange Juice'. Haha. I guess she's a Vodka Fanatic. I tasted a glass of each. The three are tasty and I like it. As I couldn't had enough of it, I went to get another glass of Gin with 7-up. Hehe.

After the event, FREE Cabby home. Haha. I'm enjoying hahahahaha. So easy to satisfy right? But not for everything.... Nvm, go go further liao. Haha. Note: Friends who are reading this post, please note that I am not a passive drinker. I just drink for the fun of drinking. I'm not someone with drink until vomiting like a Merlion. Haha. That's the real joy of drinking. Shall stop here. Haha.

MLM / Monday, October 02, 2006
Oh well, I feel like sharing something with you guys here, it's something about the multi-level marketing. Maybe you may not know what is multi-level marketing. It's inconvenient to name some of the examples as I don't wish to create trouble. It works like this. You have to invest or spend a sum of money to create an account. After gotta your account, you will need to get people to join your connection and to create a link (something like an pyramid). There are alot more factors involved, but I'm not going into detail as I'm not here to promote it.

The tactic used by the member of the Multi-Level Marketing Company is basically the same. These people will suddenly called you outta the blue and are so desperately wanting to meet you, even they are not close with you. They will give reasons like 'long time never meet up', 'wanna share something very profitable' or even 'wanna be your own boss'. All these are just pure bullshit. Personally, I don't hate these people, I just don't like them. Like what my friend has told me, they are using friendship as an excuse to meeting up with you for an money earning opportunity.

Thinking back, I had countless of this experience in the past two or three years. They used every ways and means to lied and cheated me. These 'friend' of mine had lost my trust in them and we had lost contact between each other. I have got one really close Malay friend who was my secondary school friend. She joined an MLM company and changed into another person. She used to be a wonderful person, but right now, the sight of her is just devil to me. Yeah, money is almost everything, but you know, there is something that you can't buy even if you have lotsa cash.

I'm not here to talk bad about MLM. In the future, it might be the next big thing in the business world. But what I'm trying to highlight are that money isn't everything and friendship can be so fragile. If there are still some friends here who trying to get me to join such company, please please save your breath and don't spoil the friendship. It's not worth it.

Rob-B-Hood / Sunday, October 01, 2006

This is a crappy movie that is worth your cents and dollars. A well-blend sense of humour and touching scenes that will make you laugh and cry at the same time. The baby in the movie is incredibly adorable. The ways that Jackie Chan and Louis Koo handle the baby are interesting as well as clumsy. Personally, I'm not a chinese movie goer but this movie is worth a thumb up.

That is the movie that I have watched over the weekends. Woke up early in the Saturday morning to feed my empty bank passbook. Called Kelvin to meet up at the Marina Square. We went to play some games at the Marina Square arcade while waiting for the arrival of Kenny and Xiangyi. Initial plan is to watch movie at the Marina Square, but somehow, we changed location due to a particular reason or another.

Xiangyi arrived soom and we headed to Suntec to purchase the movie tickets. It is really expensive to watch a movie on weekends. Hahas. Imagine $9.50 for a 2 hrs long movie, it will take me 4 hrs of my internship to get that same amount of money. While waiting for Kenny as well as the movie to start, we went to play some games again. Hahas. We played something new which is the 'tile stacking' game. Yeah, 'tile stacking' to win big prize. It's a kind of addictive game so please don't try it. Hahas.

After that, went to play mahjong with Bernard, Shijie and her friend. Lost quite abit of money on the game. It've been so unlucky for the past few weeks. Had been wasting money unneccessarily. I don't want to but it just got bad. The main purpose is to keep my time occupied but ended up spending more than I could afford. Maybe I should get a weekend job, don't you think so? Hahas. Had a couple of laughs and chat with Bernard at the Woodlands Interchange before heading home. It was 7am then. Hahas.
