Army life / Tuesday, June 26, 2007
Soon, it will be the end of the first 2 weeks in the army. In these 2 weeks, many things happened and I've learned alot of valuable lessons. Met lotsa friends in the camp and the whole lots are fun and friendly. Also, you can see quite a number of black sheeps in the group too. Hope that they will change immediately after the 2nd week.

The Platoon Sergent, Sergent and Platoon buddies called me 'Finger Boy'. Why? Just on the 2nd day of my army stint, I accidentally cut my right index finger by the utility knief. Blood dripped from Level 5 to the Medical Center. Haha. I shocked many of my Platoon buddies as there were a pool of blood on my seat. So... that was the day which I got my first 'book out' to the Changi General Hospital for 3 stitches. This incident also resultant the return of the ulitity knief. Wasted man. $150 per piece sia....

And yesterday, I got to book out again. Why? I got fever. It took six hours for the medical center to process a piece of medical certificate. NS focus on speed and efficiency? I really doubt it loh. Haha. Before I went into the medical center, my body temperature is 38.1 degree celsius. After getting out of that damn place, it increased to 39.1 degree celsius. Why? Cos they required the recruit to wear shorts and t-shirt in the damn freaking 18 degree celsius medical centre. And I endured the coldness throughout the 6 hours. I got back to my company office and reported to my Sergent. Guess what? I got a new nickname. Now they called me 'Chao Keng'. -_-

My Platoon buddies also called me 'Sergent Chocolate'. Haha. Funny and cool nickname. They told me that I can shout louder than most of the Sergent around. So most of the time, they always called me to shout in order to motivate and to make those minority black sheeps to put in more effort when coming down. Why chocolate? Cos I'm always wearing the Chocolate Admin T-shirt as I'm on light duties. Haha. Funny people.

So far, the 2 weeks adjustment period is still relatively okay to me. People there are really kind to me. Whenever and wherever I go, they will asked me about the condition of my finger. Some even salute to me cos I'm Sergent Chocolate. Hahaha. Most of the commanders are good as they still treat us like a human. There is only 1 particular Sergent that really spoiled my days. He treats the recruits like shits and abuse his authority just because he got the power. Well, for me, I think it's better to treat people better so that they will be willing to fight with you not because of your rank but a Sergent who take cares of his men.

Thomas's Birthday / Sunday, June 10, 2007
Yeah Yeah, in case some of you finds that the pictures were familiar, I would like to inform you that I stole them from somewhere. Haha. I love to steal pictures.

Well, as you can see from these pictures, a gang of girls and guys went to celebrate Thomas 21st birthday. Happy Birthday to you, Thomas. Had hella lotsa fun time at the Kbox @ Marina Square. As usual, I clowned there like nobody's business.

One unusual thing happened during the K box session, the girls bought a piece of T-shirt for me. It is a two months over-dued birthday present which came to my surprise. Thanks Leen, Jaime, Tingz and Pingz for the relatively expensive item.

Went to Han's for our dinner and thanks Thomas for the treat. Haha. The service sucks to the cow balls. After the dinner, we went to play merry-go-round at the area outside Marina Square. In the end, we headed to Clarke Quay to smell Merlion's fart.

Alright alright, picturesssss..........

Ok, this is the birthday boy Thomas... 21 years old... Single and available... Any takers? Hahahaha

Back (left to right) Justin, Apple, Shileen, Hippo Mei
Front (left to right): Liang, Thomas, Me, Bernard

Great photoshop skill by Leen... Hahaha.

I've no idea when this picture is taken. I look rather stupid la. Haha. Alright, I think I was too high on that day.

I sang love song to her... But she TOTALLY ignored me... She broke my heart.... So sadzzz...

Soooo.... I ignored her too and went on to play my 5 10 15. Hahaha. I lost terrible due to broken heart.

Oh yaaa.... We went to bowling after dinner... I've forgotten it as it was not a night to remember. I cleaned the drain for the staffs.

Chilling at the Clarke Quay... One more time.... 4 eligible singles.... Any takers? Counting once.....

Okok, last picture..... I want to complain. DIDN'T I SAY 'DON'T EVER POST THIS PICTURE?' Never mind la, thanks for the free publicity. Wahahaha.

What is wrong? / Friday, June 01, 2007
Used to be satisfied and happy whenever I meet up with friends and cousins. Now? No longer. It doesn't means that I am unhappy when I'm with them. I'm still happy but it just seems like I'm enjoying it lesser and lesser. No waves and flows in my life. It's as peaceful and stagnant as a glass of pure drinking water. I think I'm getting bored with so many things here. Mild Depression or Fatigue? I want to vent it out but how? It's definitely not pre NS depression as I don't really think about it. Hope I can get a waterspout (good) and not a tsunami (bad).
